Our Story
Students for Global Special Education (SGSE) is a registered student organization at Penn State dedicated to promoting the holistic well-being of individuals with disabilities by expanding access to special education and related support resources worldwide.
SGSE partners with the Anbumalar Social Service Vision—a school for low-income children with disabilities based in Chennai, India—to raise funds for specialized education, physical therapy, vocational training, daily nutrition, and transportation. Together, we strive to create an environment where every child is treated with respect and has the opportunity to thrive.
